English photographer Tom Weedon and his wife Veronica More became a couple fighting against the Nazis during World War II, before travelling to Mallorca in 1956 to immortalise a Mallorca that no longer exists. Virginia González del Barco might have been one of the great dancers in Spain, but thirty years later she is designing houses from her architecture studio. Photographer George Burriss captured the life of cruise passengers during his travels between the 1920s and 1940s, aboard ships that already included libraries, gyms and tennis courts. Rebecca Horn, who recently passed away, was an artist who always kept the flame of utopia burning in the face of demolishing conformism.
