Aina Salvà and Alberto Sánchez met 20 years ago when they were studying architecture in London. The founders of the Feina studio, in 2014 they bought and redesigned this house in Son Espanyolet which had, decades earlier, been a tile and rope factory. They named it Plywood House because wood is present in all of the most significant elements of the home. An example of how to transform an ordinary space into an extraordinary place.

Aina and Alberto’s home is also their workplace. The dining room table where the family has dinner every evening is also the place where they develop their architecture projects on the computer. They called their home Plywood House because there are thin layers of wood everywhere inside it: on the floor slabs, the stairs, the table...
